The holiday season is a time of warmth, socially-distanced gatherings, and joy, but it can also be a time for holiday scams.

These can take many forms, like a fake email that is supposedly from your bank asking you to log into your account to receive a gift, or a request for a donation from a fake charity. No matter what, you deserve to enjoy your hard-earned money and not have it taken from you by a scammer.

That’s why you should be extra alert at this time of year. Don’t share your personal information or account details with anyone, even if he or she claims to be from your bank, telco provider or other company that services you.

Happy holidays and stay scam proof!
